Margaret's Hope, Single Estate, Spring Black Tea 40g
Description:
A beautiful golden, single-estate Darjeeling from the world-famous Margaret’s Hope tea estate.
Aroma:
Vegetal, with notes of chilli and white flowers. In many respects, the aroma is more typical of something like a green tea.
Appearance:
Clear and golden
Taste:
Begins with a bold punch of strength which fills the mouth and then turns very slightly astringent with notes of ripe pumpkin and sweet white flowers that linger in the finish.
Editor's notes:
You can't really go wrong with this tea, is a really solid Darjeeling from a world-renowned estate. I would suggest drinking this plain as you don't want to miss any of the flavours.
Be careful not to over-steep, it doesn't take much to spoil this tea, 30 seconds too long and it changes entirely and becomes quite bitter. You should be able to get a couple good steeps from this.
